The designation 100 Hz cable is actually a bit from the past. When 100Hz TVs were very popular (this was in the early 2000s), there were many complaints from users that there were minor disturbances in the image. This was caused by the high-frequency signals that were produced by the various parts of the electronics (inside work) of not only the TV but also of, for example, a DVD player, decoder or other equipment. To reduce or eliminate this, 100Hz cables have come onto the market. These cables have a suppression module on the cable at both ends of the cable. This should eliminate these interferences and thus provide a better picture.
