View full detailsKeep your cables neatly hidden with these cable ducts. The cable ducts make it possible to neatly hide all cables from your LCD, Plasma or LED TV. The ducts are suitable for various cables such as Scart, HDMI , COAX and power cables.
An annoyance for many people is that the TV hangs nicely tight on the wall on a TV bracket , in many cases the equipment such as a digital decoder, DVD player or game console is in a cabinet under the television or on an audio or video bracket. But the cables of all equipment still hang between the screen and the equipment. Now you can hide the cables in the wall by milling a groove in the wall and placing a tube in it. However, this quickly becomes a small renovation because the entire wall then has to be plastered or wallpapered again.
An ideal solution is then a cable duct, cable ducts can often be obtained from the hardware store, however, the quality and finish of these cable ducts is much higher. The cable ducts that we sell are made of aluminum or metal. In addition, they also have a high quality in terms of finish and a sublime fit. So there are no thick seams between the 2 parts.
The cable duct consists of 2 parts, a front and a back. You separate the 2 parts from each other, then you can drill the back of the cable duct to the wall with 3 or 4 plugs and screws. You guide the cables along the back of the cable duct, then click the front part into the back part. In many cases this clicks into place, with a single cable duct an additional lock must be placed on it. Consult the manual or packaging of your ordered cable duct to see what applies to the cable duct you ordered.
Shortening the cable duct is no problem at all. You can do this with a standard hacksaw. A grinder can also be used, but you must be careful that the painted parts of the cable duct are not affected by the heat of the grinding disc. Our advice is to do this with a standard hacksaw. Proceed as follows: measure the distance between the television and the equipment or to the floor/skirting board. Keep in mind that the cable duct extends to behind the television. Mark the desired length. Leave the two parts of the cable duct connected when shortening. Now saw the cable duct to the desired length.
TIP: After sawing the cable duct, remove the burrs with a piece of sandpaper. If you do not do this, your HDMI cable , coaxial cable or Scart cable may be damaged by the sharp parts.
The cable ducts are available from stock, delivery time is only one working day!
