Hanging your television on the wall or hanging it on the ceiling ? Of course, this can be done in different ways. There are television brackets that allow you to attach your television tightly to the wall, but also swivel TV brackets that allow you to turn the television to any desired corner of the living room.

Most TV ceiling brackets are somewhat less flexible, these are often rotatable, tiltable and adjustable in height. But the desired height and desired viewing angle must often be determined during installation because the bracket is fully fixed during installation.

  1. To start, you must first determine the place where you want to hang your television . Take into account the viewing angle, the height, but also the power points, and possibly peripherals such as a decoder or game console.
  2. Then check the wall or ceiling where you want to mount the TV bracket . Is the wall or ceiling made of stone or concrete? Then there is no problem and the bracket can always be firmly attached. But is the wall or ceiling made of plaster or wood? Then always check carefully what the wall or ceiling can handle in terms of weight and whether it is even suitable for mounting a TV wall bracket or TV ceiling bracket .
  3. Choose the right TV bracket : Choose a TV wall bracket or a TV ceiling bracket that is suitable for your television and that meets your needs. Think of a TV wall bracket that fits tightly against the wall, or a TV wall bracket that can be rotated and tilted.
  4. The next step is to prepare the TV bracket for mounting on the wall or ceiling. Mark the mounting points: Place the bracket on the wall or ceiling at the desired height and mark the mounting points with a pencil. Make sure the bracket is level.
  5. Drilling the holes : Drill holes at the marked points. Make sure you use the correct type of drill bit for the type of wall and that you use the correct size drill bits for the supplied plugs.
  6. Once the holes are drilled, you can attach the TV bracket . Good to know, all necessary mounting materials for a brick or concrete wall are always included with us. Do you need special plugs for a plaster wall or special wood screws for attachment in wooden beams, for example, we do not supply these but are of course always available at your local hardware store.
  7. Attach your television to the television bracket: How to do this is always stated in the manual of the television bracket supplied by us. How the television should be mounted differs per television bracket. Sometimes there are separate brackets that are mounted on the television and you hang your television with these brackets on the television bracket. With other brackets, the television is screwed directly onto the television bracket.

Good to know, we also supply the screws to mount your television to the TV bracket as standard.
  8. As a final step, plug the cables into the television. Think of a power cable, COAX cable, HDMI cable or USB cable. Only when all cables are plugged into the television, plug the television and any other equipment into the socket and you can test whether everything is working properly!

It is important to note that these steps are a general summary. Always consult your television and TV mount manual for specific instructions that apply to your particular television or TV mount. If you are not confident in your DIY skills, it is recommended that you seek professional help to mount your television.
