    Infrared extender to operate your equipment such as a DVD player, Blue Ray player or digital decoder that is in a cupboard or hidden behind the TV.

    Have you mounted your TV on the wall, neatly concealed the cabling through the wall or with a cable duct? Then you don't want your digital decoder or DVD player to be in full view.

    Many people put this equipment in a cupboard or dresser under or next to the television. The problem you then encounter is that if you want to use the equipment, you first have to open a cupboard door or drawer to pass on the remote control signal. We have the solution for this! An infrared extender or also called IR extender .

    This infrared extender is a small device that you place on, next to or under the cabinet where the equipment is located, this cabinet has a cable that runs into the cabinet. This cable often has 3 or 4 infrared sensors that transmit the signal. You place these sensors in front of the equipment that you want to operate.

    Infrared extender How does it work:

    After installing the infrared extender (ir extender) you point your remote control at the receiver of the IR extender, this transmits the signal to the sensors that are connected to this IR extender. Then this device transmits the signal to the equipment that you have stored in a cupboard or dresser.

    This way you can use the equipment that you have neatly concealed without any problems. The signal can be sent through all materials such as wood, plastic, metal, etc. Is your equipment on the other side of the wall? No problem, the signal can also be sent through brick walls.
